Museum of the Slovak Village in Martin

The Slovak Village Museum is the largest ethnographic exposition in Slovakia, which is located in the open air. The open-air museum mainly presents traditional folk architecture. Apart from farm buildings or sacral buildings, we can also get acquainted with the noble manor house, oil mill and inn from 1748. Since 1991, the museum has been hosting regular events of the program "The Ethnographic Year", where not only traditional folk art but also craftsmanship, customs and folklore are presented.
